    值此2021年新年之际，重庆一带一路经济技术合作中心理事长杜小东、一带一路门户网总编辑丁华乾向奋战在“一带一路”国家和地区建设战线的各级政府组织、企事业单位和个人，表示节日的问候和衷心的祝愿！
     Chongqing The Belt and Road Economic and Technical Cooperation Center’s Chairman Du Xiaodong and Access to The Belt and Road Portal's Chief Editor Ding Huaqian want to address their vows for 2021 to everyone.

    自2013年以来，中国首倡“一带一路”的泼墨写意已逾七年。七年以来，在推进共建“一带一路”过程中，重庆一带一路经济技术合作中心、一带一路门户网不断丰富国际合作内涵，开拓国际合作路径，创新国际合作方式，不断培育出新的合作增长点。从谋篇布局、立柱架梁，到聚焦重点、精雕细琢，以积土成山、积水成渊的实干精神，完成了从“大写意”到“工笔画”的宏伟转变，推动共建“一带一路”不断走深走实。
     It has been more than seven years since China first initiated "The Belt and Road” initiative. In the past seven years, Chongqing the Belt and Road Economic and Technical Cooperation Center and Access to the Belt and Road Web Portal has always worked to further strengthen international cooperation, open up international cooperation paths, adopt and cultivate new international cooperation methods.

     然而，正当中国人民与世界各国建设者们摩拳擦掌，准备携手高质量共建“一带一路”时，一场突如其来的新冠疫情突袭中国、肆虐全球，“一带一路”国家和地区人民深受其害。

    在中国共产党的领导下，中国举全国之力，率先战胜了疫情，并履行了国际救援的义务。抗疫斗争，充分体现了中国的制度优势，体现了中国构建人类命运共同体的不懈努力！

    让我们感到欣慰的是：即使是在疫情最严重的时期，大量医疗、生活、生产、基建物资日夜不停的准时送达“一带一路”国家和地区，凸显了“一带一路”建设在“战疫”时期的特殊功能，证明了中方提出的“一带一路”倡议真正顺应大势，有利互联互通、互融互补，促进各国共创共享、共同发展。
     However, the Covid-19 pandemic has emerged at the beginning of 2020 and has ravaged the world.  People from Belt and Road countries and regions have suffered greatly. Under the leadership of China Communist Party, China has taken the lead in defeating the epidemic and fulfilled its international rescue obligations. Even in the darkest period of the pandemic, a huge amount of medical supplies and basic necessities have been successfully delivered to Belt and Road countries and regions to populations in need. This shows the great efficiency of "The Belt and Road” initiative.

    The fight against the epidemic fully reflects China's institutional advantages and its huge efforts to build a community of common destiny for mankind!  

     在习近平总书记的亲自关怀和指导下，重庆充分发挥“一带一路”的带动作用，发挥了独特的区位优势、资源优势、平台优势和叠加优势。重庆一带一路经济技术合作中心、一带一路门户网在市委市政府、市发改委、市商务委、市外事办、市市场监管局、市口岸物流办等政府部门推进“一带一路”政策指导下，发挥了调查研究、宣讲推广、项目合作、中介服务、政策咨询等作用，积极搭平台、促合作，带动“走出去、走进去，走上去“和”请进来”。

    Under the guidance of the CCP’s General Secretary Xi Jinping, Chongqing has been given a leading role in "The Belt and Road" initiative, thanks to its unique geographical and resources advantages. Moreover, Chongqing the Belt and Road Economic and Technical Cooperation Center and Access to The Belt and Road Portal benefits from the support of several government departments of Chongqing Municipality and other governmental organizations to promote "The Belt and Road” initiative.
     Our services include : investigation and research, advertisement and promotion, project cooperation, intermediary services and consulting. We also contribute to build a platform and promote China’s international values of “going out, going in, going up, coming in."

      重庆一带一路经济技术合作中心、一带一路门户网成立6年多以来，务实推动国际合作，携手高质量推进“一带一路”，通过服务政府和服务企业的具体举措，实现“一带”与“一路”有机衔接。

在“走出去”方面，我们通过学习创新调整定位，以面对面洽谈促进磨合，2020年累计拜访各大企业单位部门69个，出席参加各类邀请活动47场次，充分展示了重庆一带一路经济技术合作中心、一带一路门户网对外的影响力、带动力；在“请进来”方面，我们真诚邀请、统筹安排，通过真心、用心、热心、诚心赢得信任，2020年累计接待上门宾客105场次共计920余人（尤其是2020年下半年”一带一路“总部城国际合作中心公开亮相后，在严防”新冠“疫情下，迎接宾客82场次合计777余人，承办各类大中小型会议31场次），充分展现了中心办公物理空间环境、服务职能及服务亮点，受到政府和企业的一致好评，为重庆与“一带一路”国家和地区的外联内融、国际项目合作发挥了带动作用。
     Chongqing The Belt and Road Economic and Technical Cooperation Center and Access to The Belt and Road Portal has been established six years ago. Our mission is to promote “The Belt and Road” initiative and international cooperation. Through governmental and business services,

    we want to connect “The Belt” and “The Road” together, gather foreign and Chinese organization to create synergies between them and enhance international cooperation.We are currently putting the emphasis on the “going out” policy through face-to-face negotiations. In 2020, we visited 69 major companies and departments and participated in more than 47 events. These achievements demonstrate Chongqing the Belt and Road Economic and Technical Cooperation Center's efforts to promote "The Belt and Road". Our Belt and Road Web Portal has been growing in influence and is now our driving engine.

     As the expression “please, come in” says, you are entirely welcome to come to our Center to cooperate with us. In 2020, we have received more than 105 visits in total with more than 920 guests (especially during the second half of 2020 after our center moved to Chongqing headquarters city and established an International Cooperation Department, while strictly applying prevention measures of Covid-19 epidemic, we have been able to receive more than 777 people and hosted 31 large/medium/small conferences and meetings). Our center owns a great work environment and services that have been praised from both the government and enterprises for having a key role to strengthen the cooperation between Chongqing and “Belt and Road” countries and regions.

     山穷水尽疑无路，柳暗花明又一村。
     Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times,

if one only remembers to turn on the light.

     2021年或“十四五”时期，世界局势将发生深刻变化，“一带一路”建设更加任重道远。我们将秉承“和平合作、开放包容、互学互鉴、互利共赢”的丝路精神，以产权结构为核心改革体制机制，以产业联盟为核心构建利益共同体，以精诚服务打造优秀团体，以数字技术区块链赋能门户网站，让中国融入世界，让世界联通中国，让重庆与世界同频共振，让世界改变重庆。
     2021 also marks the beginning of China’s Fourteenth Five-Years plan, the world will undergo profound changes, and the construction of "The Belt and Road" still has a long way to go. We will defend the Silk Road’s spirit of “peaceful cooperation, openness and tolerance, mutual learning, mutual benefit and win-win”. Promote the development of digital technology to empower the web portal to merge China into the world and connect the world to China.

     各位朋友：无论前路坎坷，还是风雨兼程，我们愿同所有合作伙伴一道，好好活，好好过，把“一带一路”打造成团结应对挑战的合作之路、维护人民健康安全的健康之路、促进经济社会恢复的复苏之路、释放发展潜力的增长之路。

    Dear friends: No matter the difficulties we face, we are always willing to cooperate with our partners to overcome the challenges together, guarantee the safety of our citizens, help the economy and the society to recover and cooperate together to build "The Belt and Road”.
